A private, immersive experience in Swedish Lapland, guided by dogs, wilderness, and the rhythm of the Arctic.
One guest called it “Haute Couture mushing”
Depending on the length of your stay, your programme can also include a cultural visit to nearby Sápmi sites or a day at a local ski resort.
Our huskies are fast, strong, and tireless. Driving them is thrilling — and deeply connecting. After cold days outside, return to warmth, silence, and simplicity. No schedules, no crowds — just dogs and pure nature
Private stays are limited — don’t miss your chance this winter
This is not a tour.
It is a private immersion into Arctic life, shaped by dogs, wilderness, and silence.
The Wild Musher programme is for those who want to go deeper — to slow down, learn real mushing, and spend their days outdoors with powerful, energetic huskies bred for racing.
You don’t just ride a sled.
You learn to drive your own team, step by step, in a safe and exhilarating way, feeling the speed, focus, and connection that define true mushing.
Our huskies are fast, strong, and tireless. Driving them is both thrilling and grounding — an experience that demands presence and rewards trust. We guide you with care, patience, and respect for both humans and dogs.
After cold days outside, you return to warmth: the sauna, the fire, the quiet of the lodge. No schedules, no crowds — just time, nature, and simplicity.
The Wild Musher programme is offered to a limited number of guests, to preserve the quality of the experience and the well-being of our dogs.
If you are looking for a genuine, immersive, and unforgettable Arctic experience — this is it.
Our premium stays are exclusive with tailor-made programs. We want your stay with us to be as unique and magical as possible!
Life in the North, especially when it comes to outdoor activities with animals, depends a lot on Nature. Instead of fighting against it, we prefer to make the most of it! The exact program will be decided at the last minute to ensure that you have the best experience possible of Swedish Lapland.
Each winter month has something different to offer and will colour the stay accordingly.
➤ We run our programmes from mid-January until mid-April
Last stays available for winter 2026: weeks 10, 12 & 13
Our adventures with sled dogs started after adopting our first Alaskan Husky, Bobby. Shortly after, we adopted 9 more, and our pack has grown since to 14 Alaskan Huskies (& 3 puppies). We still have a relatively small number of dogs compared to other kennels, – and we like to keep it this way. We cherish their well-being above anything.
Dogs will be a central element of most of the activities that you will be discovering during your stay. We cannot wait to share with you our passion and love for these amazing, generous, and joyous creatures.
Our life and work with them are based on mutual respect and understanding, mindfulness and animal communication. They are incredible athletes, and we make sure that they get the training, activity and care that meet their needs.

You will also get to meet Vixen and Ola, our two mares. Horses have always been part of Rachel’s life since childhood, and having her own horses at home were a dream come true.
Last but not least, Milwyn, the Magick Cat and mascot of Granberget View Lodge!
